Upgrade of the drinking water supply infrastructure of the northern village of Salluit

Locality
Salluit
Type of work
Building and civil
Value
2 967 000 $

Description

As part of Nunavik’s drinking water infrastructure upgrade program, the Salluit project included reconfiguring the premises and completely replacing the treatment plant systems. It also involved adding two truck-filling gangways, connecting a new well to the existing pumping station, and building five shelters over the underground water line linking the pumping station and the treatment plant.

This type of project, combining building and civil engineering work — including the fusion and burial of an underground line passing under a riverbed — highlights the depth and experience of Construction Gély Inc.’s multidisciplinary team in northern settings. Clients appreciate being able to deal with a single contractor, whatever the nature of the work.
